Beyond the label: sizing in 4XL to 6XL

Bigger sizes are not simply scaled-up mediums. Across our shirt type range, three things change at the top of the ladder.

1. The shirt type changes

Arrive Guide 240 is the only shirt type in our range that goes to 6XL. Arrive Guide 280 stops at 4XL and Arrive Guide 2316 at 3XL. Above 4XL you are always buying the 240 GSM jersey, whatever the design.

2. Proportions change

Chest grows faster than length in most size charts. At 5XL and 6XL, shirt length can be the limiting measurement — check the length figure, not just the chest, against a shirt that already fits you.

3. The print area does not grow

We keep the same print dimensions unless the artwork requires more. A fixed-width back print on a 6XL garment leaves more shirt type cloth at the sides. If you want the print to fill the back, say so before ordering.

If your size is missing

A size is only listed when the shirt type supports it. If 4XL is not offered on a design, that design is on Arrive Guide 2316 or Arrive Guide 280 and cannot be produced in 4XL without changing the shirt type — ask us and we will tell you whether it is possible.
